Dirkon - The Paper Camera

This might make a cool science experiment for kids. It has the design for a fully-functional pinhole camera that you can print, assemble, and use with 35mm film. It also has a gallery you can browse.

Comments:
This is an is so great...I so love the idea of using "toy cameras." They even have exhibitions in NY called crappy camera shows that are taken quite seriously...one of my favorite and cheapest cameras is the Holga which you can get for around $20...cameras that are admired for their flaws...Perfection through imperfection.

I'd never heard of a Holga, so I did a web search. I found lots of cool pictures, as well as directions for making the Holga into a pinhole camera.

There are some very good photos taken with the Holga. It reminds me of a saying: "a bad workman always blames his tools." The reverse is also true: a good workman can excel with lousy tools.
